Clarified Butter

Clarified Butter (Adapted from CL)

8 tablespoons unsalted butter

In a medium saucepan, add butter and melt over medium-low heat until completely melted - about 5-10 minutes. Use a spoon to lightly skim the solids off that form on top and discard them. Slowly pour the liquid butter into glass bowl or jar, being careful to leave any remaining solids in the pan.

Makes about 1/3 cup clarified butter.
