Poppy Seed Fruited Slaw

Poppy Seed Fruited Slaw (Adapted from CL)

For the slaw

1/2 cup orange sections, chopped into chunks
1 cup halved seedless red grapes
1 package broccoli slaw

For the dressing

1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon minced fresh onion
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon poppy seeds
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon canola oil
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt

To make the slaw

In a large bowl, toss together oranges, grapes and broccoli slaw.

To make the dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, onion, vinegar, poppy seeds, oil, mustard and salt until well combined. Drizzle mixture over the slaw and toss to combine. Cover and place in the refrigerator to chill for 30 minutes.

Makes about 4 to 6 servings.

  1. one of my very favorite salads....depending on the season I might use manadrin oranges. Thanks for the reminder.
